BELFAST Company Turns Over a New Leaf with office expansion

One of Northern Ireland’s leading IT and Communications companies, Leaf, has expanded with the relocation of its Belfast office and the appointment of three new staff. The company, which was recently placed in Deloitte’s Fast50 for the second successive year, has moved to larger offices to accommodate its growing team and extended client list.

Steven Goldblatt, Founder and Managing Director of Leaf, said: “Despite the recent difficult economic environment, we have been growing our client base by delivering innovative Cloud based technology and managed services. In the past year alone we have engaged over 30 new clients across a wide range of sectors and industries. Our office relocation will help us improve service with better productivity, the expansion of our team, and space to grow further.

“One area we have seen huge growth in is Cloud Computing. There is a real momentum behind Cloud with customers driving the change as they are reading so much about it and starting to ask how it can work for them. For us, it’s an inevitability that the managed services market is going to continue to accelerate in the next few years as more and more services are going to be offered through the Cloud. We are therefore confident of further growth and have plans to extend our team again in the New Year,” adds Goldblatt.

The new offices, which are located in Weaver’s Court, in Belfast City Centre, boast spacious meeting rooms with video conference facilities, virtualised desktop technology, free desking facilities, and wireless communications as well as a break out zone and quiet room for staff. The relocation will also bring environmental benefits as Leaf has reduced its own server room through its use of Cloud technology.

In addition to the office move, Leaf has announced the recruitment of three new team members, bringing the total number of staff to almost 20.

Leaf was recently placed in Deloitte’s Fast50 for the second successive year and is ranked the top IT infrastructure company in the prestigious list. The IT and Communications company is one of only four Irish providers, chosen by Microsoft to launch Office 365, a new suite of productivity tools which can be accessed from the Cloud. Leaf is also IBM’s chosen growth partner in Northern Ireland and is Cisco’s key Premier Partner to the SME Market in Northern Ireland.
